Put on the warm woolen socks again, autumn has begun! The days are getting darker, the weather is getting wet and everything seems more boring. Add to that all the new measures around Corona and it seems as if there is no bright spot these days.
Fortunately there is our newsletter, because as you are used to, Ascend examgroep B.V. always bring some sunshine to you! In this newsletter we will inform you about our new Corona protocol, we will announce the winners of the September giveaway and the name Ascend examengroep has existed for 15 years!

15 years Ascend examgroep B.V.
It was a party on September 1, 2020 at Ascend Examgroup B.V. We celebrate our for 15 years anniversary. The last 10 years and 9 months guided by Petra van Lammeren. We spontaneously decided to get together with the ladies from the office and a few exam leaders, outside in Annemieke’s garden. Due to Corona, we have chosen not to celebrate it in a big way.
As a joke, one of the team members had said that she was bringing a onesie, because it is already quite cold outside in the evening. During the group photo, Petra was surprised, because not only had the colleague in question brought a onesie, but there was one for everyone! You can see the result in the pictures below. Although we promised not to share these, sorry ladies. The photo is just too much fun to keep just for ourselves.
Thank you for the flowers, champagne and chocolate we have received from clients. If you want to put us in the limelight, all congratulations are of course still welcome. After all, we now exist for 15 years and 1 month!
Mouth masks for examiners required
In our last newsletter we mention that mouth masks were not mandatory. After consultation in our team, we chose to adjust a new protocol. All exam leaders will now wear a mouth mask. We cannot guarantee the 1.5 meter distance during the closing of the exams and we naturally want to keep the risk of contamination low.
It is not mandatory for candidates to wear a mouth mask (if the guidelines of the RIVM donāt change). During the identification of the candidate, the mask still MUST be taken off, so that we can check whether we have the right person in front of us.
In addition to the mouth mask, our exam leaders wear gloves, all necessary materials are cleaned and disinfected and the headphones are provided with caps that are thrown away after the exam.
If a candidate shows signs of illness, he can be refused an exam.
We hope that with our measures we ensure that the risk of infection is minimal for candidate and exam leader.

In the newsletter of August we already announced that we were going to do another fun giveaway in September. We will make 2 companies happy with 2 luxury lunch boxes and 2 water bottles from Tupperware.
It is no coincidence that we devised this giveaway in collaboration with Tupperware. Ruby, one of our exam leaders, has become a Tupperware consultant.

International exams
We will continue with the international exams as usual. No exams abroad were scheduled last month, but this month we will be travelling again to our international clients. We keep a close eye on the Corona color codes by The Netherlands. If it appears that an exam is being held in an orange area, we will observe the quaternary guideline of 10 days.
In the Netherlands we will continue with exams as usual. Last week we received a number of worried phone calls now that only 3 guests can be received at house. We are happy that you feel at home with us, but the exams are really a business affair. The maximum number therefore remains 20 people per exam moment, if a client can guarantee that all candidates can sit 1.5 meters apart and that there is enough air circulation.
